Daily Drawings (work in progress)

A visual diary of daily scenes.

An open sketch book featuring framed black and white pen illustrations of daily scenes, structured in comic book format.

In 2023 I bought a bullet journal to organize my life. Besides using it as a planner and diary, I decided to use it to integrate drawing into my daily life. To prioritize quantity over quality, process over result. To embrace mistakes. I’ve been drawing (nearly) every day since.

I draw what I see around me, and sometimes my observations lead to imaginations. Sometimes the drawings are individual scenes on a page, sometimes they tell a story together. The only rules are that they are drawn within a frame. And drawn without sketching first in pencil. Just pen directly on paper.

8 framed black pen drawings, structured in a comic book format, portraying close ups of a room, and other daily scenes.
4,5 framed black pen drawings, structured in a comic book format, portraying a landscape, a woman in a big dress, smoking man

Sometimes I improvise with elements in my environment to make new compositions and let my imagination flow.
